McKim is pleased to announce some recent new business successes. The agency began working with Caisse Financial Group in January. We were also awarded a campaign from the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, which will be launching later this year. We’ve been working with Richardson International Ltd. on a variety of new initiatives, and we’re pleased to have taken on Variety Club, The Children’s Charity of Manitoba.
Congratulations to long-term client the City of Regina in the recent successful public unveiling of the design for Mosaic Stadium. A video developed and directed by McKim was launched at the event to showcase the stadium design and how it fits into the city’s largest revitalization project – the Regina Revitalization Initiative.
Read how last year’s “Transformation campaign” for Recycle Everywhere helped Manitobans recycle the most empty beverage containers in a single year since the program was introduced in 2010. A survey also found that 93 per cent of respondents said they learned that the containers are transformed into other products once recycled.
McKim is getting ready to launch Get Out Of The Basement, a summer pilot project designed to get Winnipeg teenagers out of their basements and onto the streets. They’ll be snapping photos, videos and talking to other teenagers about what makes them get out of the basement and enjoy a variety of summer activities in Winnipeg. And sharing their experiences on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Follow their journey on their website and at #GOOTB.
McKim’s Recycle Everywhere campaign for the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association (CBCRA) took home top honours at the Signature Awards on May 12, 2014. The annual event, presented by the Advertising Association of Winnipeg, recognizes marketing excellence in Manitoba. In total, McKim and CBCRA walked away with the most awards, including Best Print Series, People’s Choice and Campaign of the Year.
Bikes, walking shoes and transit passes were out in full force as McKim employees participated in the Commuter Challenge. Over the course of the seven-day event, held from June 1−7, 2014, our staff travelled over 600 km, burned 10,000 calories and saved carbon emissions to the equivalent of a solo flight from Winnipeg to Calgary. To celebrate, we capped off the week with a barbecue on our rooftop patio.
