I don’t know about you, but I get more unsolicited content in my email inbox than I’d like. Despite the plethora of junk, there are some things I value. The messages I generally read come from people I know, or from businesses I care about — business we work with, or think we might work with in the future — whether they are clients or suppliers.
In 2009, we launched the MCG e-newsletter, and I was very pleased at the response from clients, friends, suppliers and the business community. The people we work with feel like they are part of our business, and they told us that getting insights into what we’re working on with others was of value.
We’ve worked hard to make our clients feel like our partners, and it turns out the e-newsletter was part of that.
Over the last couple of years, while we were busy growing and changing, we stopped distributing our newsletter. Many people have said they miss it simply because they like to be in touch with what’s going on.
So with that, and under our refreshed brand, today we launch the McKim e-newsletter. Whether it’s your work or someone else’s that we’re featuring, you just might find some inspiration. And since there’s always something new going on here, you never know where your next great marketing idea might come from.
