McKim is delighted to have led the way among agencies by winning eight awards at the 2015 Signature Awards.
We were equally pleased to go into the event with 30 nominations – in 17 of 27 categories – the most honours for any one Manitoba agency the third year in a row.
McKim was also the sole nominee in the campaign of the year category with nods for Travel Manitoba for Manitoba Canada’s Heart… Beats, the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association for Enjoy it. Recycle it., and Assiniboine Park Conservancy’s Journey to Churchill for Say You Were There. The Manitoba Canada’s Heart… Beats for Travel Manitoba won the category. The night also included 10 runner-up nods for the agency.
“This is a great reflection of how well McKim’s integrated approach of strategy, creative and account management clearly sets us apart,” said Peter George, McKim’s CEO and president. “With the exception of one or two years, the agency has gone into the awards with more nominations than any other agency since 2007.”
Other wins and runner-ups nods for the Travel Manitoba campaign include print single, original sound design, broadcast over $20,000, broadcast/non-broadcast (made in Manitoba), and interactive banner ad.
“Travel Manitoba is pleased the Manitoba Canada’s Heart… Beats campaign was recognized with many 2015 Signature Awards accolades,” said Travel Manitoba President and CEO Colin Ferguson. “We recognize the efforts of our agency, McKim Communications Group, which was able to capture Manitoba’s iconic travel experiences through our new brand and 2014 advertising campaign.”
Other McKim work recognized at awards include The University of Manitoba; Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries; Manitoba Hydro; Richardson International; The Mosaic Company; Prairie Skies Musical Theatre Company; Variety, The Children’s Charity of Manitoba; and the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association’s program, Recycle Everywhere.
