Congratulations to client Travel Manitoba for winning two golds and a silver at the WorldMediaFestival | Tourism awards.
Travel Manitoba won gold in the advertising campaign category for the Manitoba, Canada’s Heart… Beats campaign.
“To have our 2014 advertising campaign – the first one to feature our new Manitoba, Canada’s Heart… Beats brand – win gold at an international awards is proof that our messages have the power to resonate with audiences from around the world,” said Colin Ferguson, Travel Manitoba President and CEO. “We recognize the efforts of our agency, McKim Communications Group, which was able to capture Manitoba’s iconic travel experiences through our new brand and 2014 advertising campaign.”
The pieces entered in the global competition include Travel Manitoba’s television commercials, in-flight advertising, and print ads featuring Manitoba travel experiences with polar bears, beluga whales, fly-in fishing and Winnipeg as a cultural oasis.
“We feel this is some of our best work,” says President and CEO Peter George. “It’s been a transformational campaign for the agency, and we are thrilled to see our client and partner, Travel Manitoba, recognized at an international level.”
Travel Manitoba won its second gold for its annual report, and a silver in the media kit category.
The WorldMediaFestival | Tourism awards recognize excellence in media and are based out of Hamburg, Germany.
