While we were busy rebranding ourselves, the agency also shifted things internally and brought in some new faces.
For starters, Audra Lesosky was promoted to vice president, accounts and strategic services.
Naomi Medeiros was promoted to vice president, finance and operations.
Regional vice president for Saskatchewan, Linda Tiefenbach, took on an expanded role as VP, business development.
Graphic designer Tom Boresky was promoted to studio art director.
McKim was pleased once again support the Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba‘s Stone Soup Fundraiser. We designed posters and developed communications materials that promoted the second annual Winnipeg event and highlighted sponsors and participants. The event raised over $15,000 — enough to cover the cost of about 11,500 breakfasts, 7,500 lunches, or 25,000 nutritious snacks for kids.
The agency is also excited to announce our nominations for the 70th Annual Signature Awards, pulling in 16 this year for a variety of campaigns, design and branding work. As always, we share this honour with our clients and look forward to celebrating at the gala evening May 7th.
Earlier this year, McKim joined the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA). ICA is a not-for-profit association for Canadian communication agencies that represents more than 75 per cent of all national advertising. The association champions commercial creativity, amplifies the industry’s economic impact and embraces and drives change.
“The ICA represents the major players in the Canadian agency field as well as the best of the independent agencies,” says Peter George. “ICA is a very active, professionally-run organization,” says George. “Joining ICA is an important step in our agency’s development.”
